Tickwanya discovered her love for singing at the tender age of 3. A Richmond, VA native, Tickwanya attended Henrico Center for the Arts where she was a part of the Musical Theater Program. She later went on to her earn her Bachelor of Music in Music Business and Management in 2016 from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. While at Berklee, Jones was cast as “Effie White” in the school’s production of Dreamgirls. After graduating from Berklee, Jones moved to LA, to pursue her career. She is represented by Firestarter Entertainment (agency) and TalentInk (management). Jones has performed BGVs on the Steve Show, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night With Seth Myers, Late Night with Stephen Colbert, and at Coachella with Kanye West. In September of 2019 Tickwanya made her professional theater debut at the Pasadena Playhouse as Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors! Post COVID she is set to star as Dionne in Hair at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
